Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Packing Party

Help us fill shoeboxes with gifts for kids!
We are collecting donations for Operation Christmas Child (OCC) shoeboxes. This is our 6th year of participating in this outreach project with Samaritan's Purse, packing shoeboxes with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items for distribution around the world.
There are 4 ways you can help:
1. Shop - Here are some things we need:
- small toys (e.g. jump ropes, yo-yos, musical toys like plastic harmonicas, kazoos, mini-recorders, whistles, party horns, etc.). Remember: no war-related toys are accepted by OCC.
- Single-subject notebooks, pencil sharpeners, crayons
- Small hairbrushes, beaded necklaces
- Stainless steel teaspoons

2. Financial Contribution - This will help us cover the cost of shipping ($9 per box). Put cash in an envelope labelled OCC or make your check payable to Harbor of Hope and write "OCC" in the memo line, and give it to Pam Moran or any member of the Women's Harbor Team.
3. Pack boxes - Our Packing Party is at Harbor of Hope on Saturday, November 9 at 12:30 PM. Everyone (including men and children over 5 years of age with a parent) is welcome to come help.
4. Pray - These shoeboxes of small gifts sent with the love of Jesus have changed the lives of millions of children around the world. Pray that each child will hear the gospel delivered with this simple gift.
