Lead pastor

I’ve loved Jesus and the Church for as long as I can remember. The best part of my week is when I get to see someone learn something new about how much God loves them or what He made them for. My job is to teach people God’s word, love and serve our community like Jesus, and help Harbor of Hope follow where God leads.

My Favorite Place in Massachusetts: Singing Beach

My Favorite Drink: Hazelnut Coffee from Dunkin’

My Family: My husband is Jeremy (a witty electrical engineer and musician) and my kids are Esther (loves all things art, unicorn, or book-related) and Silas (a party looking for a location).

Pastor of Care

Praying, with and for you, is one of my favorite things to do. I love helping you to connect with God, and then stepping out of the way. I’m here for you to answer questions, help you find help and be there for you. Let’s grab a cup of tea or take a walk and chat, I’m a listener so don’t be surprised if I’m quiet and ask questions :)

My Family: I’m married to the lead sound guy, Jeff with the wild shirts! We have a crazy wire fox terrier we share our home with and who makes us laugh.
Outside of Harbor: I have too many hobbies like writing, quilting, gardening, and the latest is card making.
Social Media: I’m on FaceBook and easy to find with my name

Worship Director

"We've no less days to sing God's praise than when we first begun."   - Amazing Grace.

Music has always been a huge part of my life.  From my first concert (Huey Lewis and The News), to the band I've seen the most (Rush), to the Christian Music Festival in New England that I go to every year (SoulFest), it's hard to find a period of my life when it wasn't.

God has also always been a huge part of my life.  From my time as an altar boy, to singing in a church choir in college, to leading worship at a church plant, and now at Harbor - He's always been there for me.  It's hard to find a period of my life when He wasn't molding me, guiding me, and making me into something (someone) new.

At Harbor of Hope I get to use my favorite thing (music) to talk about my favorite person (Jesus) on my favorite topic (the Gospel).

When you visit Harbor, my hope is that the band on stage doesn't distract you from worshipping our Creator.  If you leave thinking "Wow, the band was great today," then I've failed.

My Favorite Place in Massachusetts: Edward A. LeLacheur Park (Former home of the Lowell Spinners). Also....anywhere people congregate with their dogs.

My Favorite Drink: Diet Sprite. Coffee too.

My Family: My amazing wife Liz, my teenage son Jonathan, and we have a dog (Daisy) and a cat (Gerrick).

Elder, Director of Kid's Harbor

I grew up in the church, playing in handbell choirs and serving on my youth group boards. It took me until college to recognize that being involved in a church is different than having a personal relationship with Jesus. I still count my blessings for the friends from that phase who showed me how beautiful that relationship can be. With a background in elementary education, I delight in working with children. I have the privilege of leading an incredible team of volunteers as we show our youngest friends that they are an integral part of our church family. The best part of my job is teaching kids about God's perfect love; that nothing we do can make God love us more, and nothing we do can make God love us less.

My Favorite Places in Massachusetts: Crane Beach in the summer, Stone Arch Bridge the rest of the year

My Favorite Drink: Iced latte from Starbucks

My Family: I am married to my high school sweetheart, Marc (lifelong drummer, running tights enthusiast) and mom to Maryn (dancer, child-whisperer, Pentatonix's biggest fan), Molly (dancer, actress, empathetic spirit), Willow (dancer, dinner table comedian, expert regarding cute animals), and our small flock of chickens.

I'm an introvert who generally tends to screw things up, but that's why I need Jesus!  Although I love all sorts of things and have way too many hobbies, I've found what gives me the true joy in my life is serving others.  As a teenager I wrestled a lot with what I believed and why I believed it, and that's motivated me to serve with middle school and high school students for the past 16 years. I love hearing the perspective of our students on faith and the world and I love sharing my faith with them as well.  My day job is writing software.

My Favorite Place in Massachusetts: Many places, but I'll say Russell Mill in Chelmsford (to mountain bike)

My Favorite Drink: black coffee

My Family: My beautiful wife Maeghan (nurse with heart for world missions) and my son Joseph (loves soccer) and daughters Hanya (loves dance) and Samara (loves animals)

Elder, Director of Expansion

I grew up attending church and learned about the incredible love of Jesus through the faith my parents demonstrated on a daily basis, (but especially during difficult seasons). Ever since I participated in my first international mission trip in high school I have had a passion for global ministry. I’ve been blessed with opportunities to travel the world and witness God’s amazing love shine across cultures and geographies. As a member of the elder team I get to serve alongside amazing, faithful leaders to guide and guard the vision and mission that God has entrusted to Harbor.

My day job is focused on developing technology for an investment manager in Boston. It doesn’t sound exciting but I get to work with great people on solving challenging problems. A good fit for a nerdy introvert like me.

My Favorite Place in Massachusetts: On a bike trail or golf course (usually in the woods looking for my ball).
My Favorite Drink: Milkshake!
My Family: My wife is Sheila (an amazing, compassionate, wildlife rehabber and educator), and my 3 kids are Ashley, Sydney, and Zoe who are all creative, funny, and far cooler than their father.

I grew up with Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and Youth Group at church. My parents were involved in a lot of ways both at church and in the community so they set an example for serving others. In 1999 I discovered a passion for leading women in Bible study, and since then I have led countless Bible study groups and started & led two women’s ministry teams before I joined the Elder Team at Harbor in 2016.  I currently work in Human Resources at a home healthcare agency in Bedford MA.

My Favorite Drink:  Hot Latte made with Almond Milk

My Family:  My husband is Gord (tall, dark & handsome) and we are empty nesters with our daughters living in London, Canada (Katharine) and Des Moines, IA (Jillayne)

I love Jesus and I love people!  At Harbor, I feel like I can show my love of Jesus through serving, giving, and sharing the good news of the gospel.  My day job is really my vocation, which is teaching students and adults how to know themselves better as learners, and how to navigate their own unique path to success. I love watching students of all ages become more confident and independent and able to use strategies that help them in school and in life.
