Read Mark 15:42-47
He’s dead. His body removed from the cross. Lovingly wrapped in fresh linens. Carefully laid in another man’s tomb. And a massive stone, placed over the opening.
Mary, Jesus’ mother watched it all in shock.
The disciples were devastated. Fearing for their lives. Robbed of hope.
And then… silence.
Today, maybe right before bed, spend an extended time in silence. Imagine what Jesus’ followers must have experienced on that day.
Acknowledge any areas in your own life where you feel hopeless, hollow, afraid.
Then wake up early tomorrow morning, and read the rest of the story in Mark 16:1-8.
