JOY

Joy and Happiness are two different things. The word "happiness" is derived from "happens." Happiness happens. it's tied to an event or moment. Joy is different. Joy is an underlying sense of wellbeing that is not tied to what is currently happening. Our challenge, especially during this holiday season, is experience the Joy that's found in Christ and to learn how to share it with others.

Exercise

Most Christ-followers today are educated far beyone their level of obedience. Or, in other words, most of us know more about what's in the Bible than we actually live out. The problem in the church of America is not one of access to Scripture, but one of failing to live it out. This sermon seeks to give some practical insights for remedying our current situation.

Tasting, Chewing, & Digesting (The Practice of Reading & Reflecting On Scripture)

What if opening up the Bible became as delightful as sitting in your favorite diner with a close friend? How would that change the way you approach Scripture? The Dine-In series seeks to answer these questions, and this week's message gives attention to the practice of reading and reflecting on God's Word
