Kid's Harbor Safety
Safety, Security, and Procedures
Kid’s Harbor is designed to be a safe place for children. Every person involved with Kid’s Harbor from check-in to teachers has been carefully screened for your child’s protection.
To keep our Kid’s Harbor environment healthy, sick children are asked to remain with their parents during Sunday gatherings. Read about our Illness policy here.
Upon arrival, each child, birth-5th grade will be checked in using Kidcheck. For more information on Kidcheck and to create an account go to www.kidcheck.com. Each child will receive a nametag with a security code on it. Should we need to contact a parent/guardian during the service, the number, also listed on the guardian receipt, will appear on the televisions. Parents should return to their child’s room if his/her number appears.
No child will be released without the parent/guardian presenting the guardian receipt that corresponds with the security number on the child’s nametag.
Only Kid’s Harbor staff and parents will be permitted in the classrooms.
In the event of an emergency, children will be evacuated by the Kid’s Harbor staff. Parents should retrieve their child outside the facility in the parking lot.
