Kid's Harbor
Welcome to Kid's Harbor!
Kid’s Harbor is a place where kids can come to know Christ and learn how to make His love visible. We have a desire to partner with families and learn what it means together to live fully, love deeply, and give freely. God says to the Israelite parents in Deuteronomy 6:
“Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”
Think about this: The church gets roughly 40 hours a year to teach your children about loving God and loving people. The average family, even with tons of activities mixed in to an already busy schedule gets roughly 3,000 hours per year of unstructured time!
This is why we want to partner with families and learn what it means together to live fully, love deeply, and give freely. Because we know it’s a daunting task to many parents to teach their kids about loving God and loving people, and that’s why we, your church, are here.
So welcome to Kid’s Harbor. We want you to know that it’s a safe environment for your children and it’s a fun one as well. We offer programming for birth-5th grade at the 9:30 am gathering and birth-36 months at the 11:00 am gathering.
